Articles like plastic drinking straws, plastic q-tips and plastic cups will be forbidden.

This is a much needed regulation.

We applaude the progress and continue to avoid plastic products. These new regulations will make avoiding plastic much easier. Alternatives will be sought after.

Gode nyheter! EU-kommisjonen vil forby en rekke unødvendige plastprodukter! Gjennom EØS-avtalen vil et slikt forbud også bli innført i Norge, og vi forventer at Norge nå vil gå foran å innføre forbudet snarligst mulig, før det kommer som pålegg fra Brussel. I første omgang er det engangsprodukter av plast EU vil forby, somengangsbestikk, kopper, tallerkener, sugerør og q-tips-pinner.

Dette er en viktig seier for miljøet og livet i havet som trues av den økende plastforurensning. Hvert år havner opptil 12 millioner tonn plast i havet. Her brytes det ned til mikroplast og hoper seg opp i næringskjeden. Vi har alle sett bilder av hvordan hval og fisk har blitt kvalt av plast. Slik kan det ikke fortsette!

At EU nå foreslår et forbud viser at de har forstått det vi har sagt lenge - vi kan ikke resirkulere oss bort fra plastproblemet! Skal vi stanse plastforurensningen av havet må vi begrense bruken av plast. Det har Greenpeace jobbet for lenge. Selv om det foreslåtte forbudet er viktig, er vi ikke i mål enda - støtt oss videre i kampen for et plastfritt hav.

The Best Way To Use Sugar

The only way sugar should be used, some might say.

Murandu from Zimbabwe came up with an excellent use for sugar.

He used it on woulnds to prevent bacteria from growing and this helped with wound healing.
Earlier he had used salt, but it was very painful. So he tried sugar!

My first thought was: Bacteria feed on sugar.

But of course:
Both salt and sugar binds to water!

When added to a wound, it will bind to any water coming from the wound.

Bacteria cannot reproduce without available water and therefor bacterial growth is inhibited!

We all know exercise is good for you.
But: few knows how crucial our day to day activity is if you want to stay youthful, healthy and beautiful.


When you work out you break down muscle fiber.
Sounds brutal, but its a good thing! Your body will now rebuild your muscles, stronger.

Theories about aging: Accumulation of "junk"

Your body accumulates junk over the years.
Despite it's amazing capability to dispose of unwanted metabolites and toxins!

We are not talking about wage, unknown "toxins" that a quick and easy detox could rid you of.

These are hands on and very real.
And they do great damage.

We know this junk as:

You need to be fully aware of the reasons you are over weight.

  • How have you been eating? Fast, slow?
  • What are you eating and drinking?
  • How active are you on a daily basis?
  • What are your daily routines/habits?

If you eat fast, you will eat more calories before your brain registers that you are full.
Activity burns energy. Low activity = low energy burn.

In one way or another you have consumed more energy that you have used.
There are multiple APP's and websites you can use to calculate your energy intake.

I use this:

Logging your food and drink will teach you where your excess energy comes from.
This makes it easier when you move on to correcting your energy balance.

    • Do you really need to use the car this time? It shreds microplastics like a plauge
    • Join Facebook groups fighting plastic and sign petitions!

    You and me, we are the ones who need to take responsible for this.
    We have to demand a change in the market.
